Sally, So sorry to read of Lee's passing. I remember his love for cars and the little Corvairs he liked to collect. I always enjoyed visiting with you and Lee all those many years ago, you both were so nice and kind. My prayers are with you during this time.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr Kanuckel's passing! He was my favorite school teacher and I still remember some of his lessons today at age 51. Have not seen him in quite some time, but I am sure that he passed down a great legacy of learning and decency to his family. Prayers to all

Sally, Mike, and Susan: My heart is so heavy for you. Lee was a good man, and a good teacher; I enjoyed being taught by him many, many years ago. His passion for the subject of history was infectious and inspiring. In fact, he was the one who introduced me to the Civil War-era movie "Glory," a movie I now own. I still cry when I watch it, just as I did back then, and always think about the fact that I was first introduced to that movie by Mr. Kanuckel.

May God comfort you as only He can during this sorrowful time; may the peace of God, which passes all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). You will all be in my prayers.
