Jeffery "Mutt" Martin, age 65, of Glenmont, Ohio passed away Monday morning, December 11, 2017 at his home following an extended illness.
A Celebration of Life gathering for family and friends will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Killbuck VFW in Killbuck, Ohio. Jeffery was born July 18, 1952 in Millersburg, Ohio and was the son of Raymond and Rosalie (DeWitt) Martin. On November 28, 2008 he married Sheila Roach and she survives.
"Mutt" drove Amish for Brinkhaven Builders for many years. He was a member of the Killbuck VFW. "Mutt" loved to golf, throw horseshoes, play cards and riding four wheelers. He enjoyed camping and spending time at the Killbuck VFW Lake.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Sheila is his son, Jeffy (Laryssa) Martin of Glenmont, Ohio; four step children, Jenny (Darren) McBroom of Warsaw, Ohio, Tobie (Donnie) Snow of Killbuck, Ohio, Amanda (Jeremy) Moore of Tulsa, OK and Todd Kirkpatrick of Wooster, Ohio; four grandchildren, Wyatt, Jarrett and Miley Snow, and Isabella Moore; four siblings, Larry Martin of Big Prairie, Ohio, Pat (Dan) Doolittle of Glenmont, Ohio, and Nancy (Jim) Shaffer and Beth Martin both of Wooster, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Laura Roach.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Rosalie Martin; a sister, Shirley Reiheld; a brother, Tim Martin; sister-in-law, Shirley Martin; father-in-law, Dale Roach; and his loyal companion, Black Dog.
