James "Pops" LeBlanc, age 78 of Millersburg, Ohio passed away peacefully Thursday, October 4, 2018 following an extended illness. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, October 11th at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg, Ohio where military rites will be conducted by the Killbuck VFW and the Millersburg American Legion. Following the burial all are welcome to attend a meal at the Millersburg American Legion. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Jim was born May 19, 1940 and Lafayette, Louisiana and was the son of Edmond and Octavia (Theriot) LeBlanc. He worked many years at Millersburg True Value Hardware Store. Jim was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of the Millersburg American Legion, the Killbuck VFW and the Millersburg Eagles. Jim enjoyed golf, cooking, family gatherings, and baseball. He is survived by seven children, Jimmy (Lori) LeBlanc, Darren Michaels, Todd (Mel) LeBlanc, Roxanne (Mike) White, Tina Richard, Austin (Andrea) LeBlanc and Alec LeBlanc. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren; nieces, and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and all of his siblings. He was known for his famous one-liner "one more and I'm out of here." He will be greatly missed.
