Gary Dean Sorensen, age 67, of Nashville passed away peacefully at his home, Friday, November 16, 2018. Gary was born January 1, 1951 in Millersburg to Elmer and Helen (Martin) Sorensen. He married Vickie Dial in Glenmont on February 21, 1970. She survives. Gary was a 1969 West Holmes graduate. He was a truck driver most of his working life. Gary never met a stranger. He loved riding his motorcycle and spending time with those who rode with him. His life was a life well-lived. We will always remember the laughter, sad times we all shared and moments that made us shake our heads and will talk about for years to come. He is survived by children, Nichole Lingenfelter (Jim Trickett) of Shreve, Natessa Hagy of Spring Mountain, and Zachary (Kristen) Sorensen of Shreve; grandchildren, Nova (Samantha) Martin, Sawyer, Kiana Lingenfelter, Addie Hagy, Sophia Monnier, Aubrey Flanigan, Hudson, Carver, Sloane, Lark and Wynslow Sorensen, Brad Henderson, and Stephanie Henderson; great-grandchildren, Paxton and Parker Martin; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents; sisters, Sonia Renfrew, Sabrina Raber, and Vanessa Sorensen; a brother, Shawn Sorensen; a grand daughter, Aubry Hagy; and a nephew, Heath Walker. In his memory, his family asks that you spend as much time as you can with your loved ones, live life to the fullest, be the life of the party and make a toast to enduring friendships, lifelong and beyond. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with Reverend Kevin Anslow officiating. Burial will be at Nashville Cemetery, Nashville, Ohio.
