Gail Patterson, 76, of Killbuck, Ohio passed peacefully in his home surrounded by loved ones on August 18, 2019.
Born to Russell and Maude (Arnold) Patterson on May 30, 1943, he attended Killbuck High School and enjoyed a long and fruitful career with Holmes-Wayne Electric Cooperative where he retired as CEO.
He joins his wife, Faye Patterson, who he married on May 25, 1962. They spent 57 years building a home they were proud of in a community they cherished.
Gail was the ultimate family man and did everything in his power to make sure his family would be cared for and comfortable. He worried about little else, except his lawn. Gail was kind to every person whose path he crossed and cared deeply for his community. He kept his garage impeccable and may hold the world record for helping people change spare tires.
His memory and legacy are carried on by son, Rich (Heather) Patterson and daughter, Ronda (Sam) Steimel; grandchildren, Cassy Patterson, Zac (Courtney) Patterson, Skylar Patterson and Brogan Steimel; great grandchild Eleanor Mae Patterson; and step grandchildren Kyleigh Wells and Ethan Wells.
He was fortunate to be surrounded by his beloved brothers and sisters, cousins and nieces and nephews; both living and passed.
Calling hours will take place from 2-5pm Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at the Killbuck United Methodist Church immediately followed by a funeral service starting at 5pm with Pastor Kenneth Smailes officiating. Gail and Faye were incredibly blessed to be surrounded by so many caring members of this community. There are not words for the gratitude their family has for the constant assistance and kinship. No amount of thank yous would suffice.
