Edith D. Croskey

Edith D. Croskey, age 96, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away Sunday, September, 29, 2019 at Majora Lane Care Center, Millersburg, Ohio.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with Pastor Matt Rowe officiating. Burial will take place at Killbuck Cemetery, Killbuck, Ohio. Edith was born November 16th, 1922 and Glenmont, Ohio and was the daughter of Harley E. and Grace E. Strouse Shinabarker. On December 28th, 1939 she married Corland Croskey and he preceded her in death in 1977. 
Edith worked at the Village Restaurant, Economy Grocery Store and at Joel Pomerene Memorial Hospital in Millersburg. She enjoyed gardening and flowers and she loved her grandchildren.
She is survived by 5 children, Delmer (Carol) Croskey of DeGraff, Ohio, Corwin (Jane) Croskey of Wooster, Ohio, Carolyn Bricker (Bill Mackey) of Millersburg, Ohio, Vicky (Mike) Croskey of Shreve, Ohio and Lynn (Betty) Croskey of Wooster, Ohio; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jim (Jean) Shinabarker of Glenmont, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Corland; siblings, Edward Shinabarker, Earl Shinabarker, Helen Jones, Vera McCaferty and Bob Shinabarker; son and daughter-in-law, Lanny (Marilyn) Croskey; and a granddaughter, Cathy.
