Doris F. Styer

Doris F. Styer, age 80, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away Sunday morning, May 27, 2018 at Aultman Hospital, Canton, Ohio following a short illness.

Doris was born October 3, 1937 and Gnadenhutten, Ohio and was the daughter of Frank and Mary (Tyson) Burdett. She was a waitress at the Village Restaurant, worked in housekeeping at Castle Nursing Home and was a cook for the Holmes County Jail. Doris formerly attended St John's Church of Millersburg and was a volunteer at the Darb Snyder Senior Center in Millersburg. She loved playing BINGO in her spare time.
Doris is survived by one son, Dan Styer of Lansing, Michigan; a grandson, Drew Steven Troyer of Portland, Oregon; three brothers, Frank Burdett Jr. of Barberton, Ohio, Clarence (Karen) Burdett of South Carolina and John Burdett of Coshocton, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Sandy Burdett; and good friends, Kathy Blake, Noreen McDowell and Carl Anderson all of Millersburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Cretus Burdett.
