Charles "Chuck" Byrne, age 56, of Millersburg, Ohio and formerly of Bucyrus, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon, October 10, 2018. A Celebration of Life service will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday at NewPointe Community Church (Millersburg Campus) with Pastor Wigton officiating. Friends may also call at any time from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the service. Those wishing to share a memory or make online condolences may do so by visiting www.alexanderfhinc.com. A private burial will take place separately at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Donations can be made via the website by selecting Give and picking the Millersburg campus. Chuck was born in Bucyrus, Ohio and preceded by his parents Robert and Lavetta (Cook) Byrne. He was a US Marine Corps veteran stationed in Okinawa during Desert Storm. He worked for the state of Ohio where he retired. He was an active member of NewPointe Community Church where he was in various small groups. He enjoyed hunting, reading, and chatting for as long as people were free to listen. He loved Jesus and sharing the gospel. He is survived by two children; daughter, Danielle Byrne and son, Cody Byrne; 2 brothers; 3 sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
