Barbara Ann Scadden, age 80, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away Sunday evening, November 12, 2017 at Pomerene Hospital, Millersburg, Ohio following a sudden illness.

Barbara was born July 4, 1937 in Wheeling, West Virginia and was the daughter of Walter and Julia (Earliwine) Francis. On August 25, 1956 she married Charles W. Scadden and he preceded her in death on November 2, 2009.
Barbara was a bookkeeper for Tru Value, The Farmer Hub and for Attorney David Noble.
Surviving are three children and their spouses, Terri (Mike) Landfair of Nashville, Ohio, Chuck (Teresa) Scadden of Killbuck, Ohio and Susie (Jim) Gill of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania;  9 grandchildren, Billie (Matt) Skolosh, Josh (Rachel) Landfair, Randee (Luke) Olney, Jeremiah (Beth) Scadden, Joe (Mary Gordon) Chirdon, Luke (Liz) Scadden, Megan (Chuck) Shaffer, Sydney Gill and Ashleigh Gill; 12 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Nathan Francis of Cameron, West Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Richard Francis.
