Barb Giauque

Barb Giauque, age 59, of Brinkhaven, Ohio went home to be with the Lord, Friday, July 6, 2018 at Aultman Hospital, Canton, Ohio following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with Pastor Mike Rogers officiating. Burial will take place at Wolf Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Stillwell, Ohio. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Barb was born January 1, 1959 in Millersburg, Ohio and was the daughter of William and Carole (Schonauer) Mohler. She was a 1977 graduate of Riverview High School. On March 31, 1979 she married David Giauque, he survives.
Barb previously worked for Castle Nursing Home, Longaberger Baskets Company of Millersburg, Walmart, and was a homemaker. She was a member Wolf Creek Baptist Church in Stillwell, where she was a Sunday School Teacher. Barb was a member and one of the founders of the Killbuck Elementary School PTO. She enjoyed the beach, being outdoors, sunbathing and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her husband, David are two sons, Benjamin (Kristen) Giauque of Wadsworth, Ohio and Brian (Bobbi Weaver) Giauque of Killbuck, Ohio; five grandchildren, Steven, Landon, Emma, Britanny and Joey; one more grandchild on the way; a brother, William "Bill" Mohler of Medina, Ohio; and two uncles, Bill and Garnett schonauer of Killbuck, Ohio and Paul and Lorene Schonauer of Coshocton, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Sandra Mohler; and a uncle, Jim Schonauer.
