Rocky Mullins Obituary

Rocky Lane Mullins, age 67, of Glenmont, Ohio was received in Heaven with a bang, Monday evening June 13, 2022 after fighting cancer "his way".
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Those wishing to share a memory or make online condolences may do so by visiting www.alexanderfhinc.com.
Rocky was born March 15, 1955 in Buchanan County Virginia and was the son of Clifford and Manda "Mandy" (Hall) Mullins. On June 17, 1984 he married Dorothy A. Fuller and she survives. On February 14, 2022 he received Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, was baptized and renewed his vows with his wife 'Beanie."
Rocky was a graduate of Clay High School in Green Cove Springs, Florida. He was a truck driver most of his life. The last two companies he worked for were Tom Hawthorne (who was like his brother) of Hawthorne Trucking of Coshocton, and later for Rod Miller of Chance II Trucking of Holmesville, who was one of his best friends. Rocky was a published poet; was a singer, songwriter and drummer in a band; and was a World War II history buff. He liked to keep a nice yard and custom build motorcycles, both being a labor of love. He always enjoyed spending time with his family and riding his motorcycle. He was Hell on Wheels!
Surviving in addition to his wife Dorothy "Beanie" are six children: Christina Lynn Mullins of Blackshear, GA, Cindy Marie Mullins of Jacksonville, FL, Joseph "Joey" Paul Mullins of Waycross, GA, Leslie James Shattuck of Coshocton, OH, Crystal Anne (Kevin) Sanders of Middleburg, FL and Jannis Elaine Shattuck of Blackshear, GA; many grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two brothers: James Mullins of VA and Okey "Bo" Mullins of FL; numerous nieces and nephews; and his fur baby, Lucy Mae who was his riding buddy. He is also survived by his first granddaughters, Samantha Nicole Potter and Kimberly Johns and his great-granddaughter, Bianca who was his Mini-Me or Bia.
Rocky was preceded in death by his parents; his older brother, Cheyanne "Bigun" Mullins; and a granddaughter, Mariah.
