Linda A. Fitos

Linda A. Fitos, 72, of Millersburg, passed away suddenly January 2, 2021. Affectionately known as ‘Big L’, she is survived by her beloved dog Willie, husband of not quite 52 years, Jeffrey, daughters Wendy, Kirsten (Misty Skladan), and Stephanie (Eric Bell), sisters Diane Woyansky (George – deceased), Marita Kontur (Ron), and Marilyn Sarka (Chuck), along with her granddogs and grandkitties, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Rita (Busser) and John Kurt, brothers Greg and Al (Inara – deceased), and her other beloved dog, Barney. An ironically gifted homemaker, she truly disliked dusting, vacuuming, cleaning, doing laundry, and especially cooking, and was amazed when her kids excelled at anything domestic. She loved reading, cross-stitching, relaxing on her covered porch with a coffee, spending time with family and friends – especially longtime friends Alma and Merle Hershberger (and their wonderful children) of Baltic, as well as her lovely friends from church, eating out, and visiting her favorite places and restaurants in Amish Country. Blessed with a fabulous sense of humor, she was one of the kindest people ever, treated all who came into her life as family, and will be terribly missed by everyone fortunate enough to have known her. Anyone wishing to make a donation in her memory can do so to their local APL or the ASPCA. No services will be held.
