Gerald Dennis Fitzpatric

G. Dennis Fitzpatric, age 80, of Holmesville, Ohio passed away wednesday, September 23rd, 2020 at Sycamore Run following a period of declining health.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m Monday at the Holmesville Church of Christ with Pastor Timothy Underwood and Bob Mitchell officiating. Burial will take place at Prairie Township Cemetery, Holmesville, Ohio. Friends may call from 12 -1 Monday at the church.

Dennis was born December 12, 1939 in Millersburg, Ohio and was the son of Melvin L. and Doris E. (Vincent) Fitzpatric.

Dennis was employed 30 years at Buckeye Manufacturing in Holmesville. After 50 years of service, he retired from the Prairie Township fire department. Dennis was on the Holmesville Council and served as a Holmes County Deputy for 12 years. He also served as the Emergency Management Director of Holmes County for 15 years. Dennis was a member of the Holmesville Church of Christ.

He is survived by two daughters, Tracie (Billy) and Erin both of Wooster, Ohio; two grandchildren, Joshua (Cierra) Posten and Angela (Daniel) Casto; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Linda Johnson of Lorain, Ohio
