Dorothy C France

Dorothy C. France, age 73, passed September 13, 2021 following a brief illness at Majora Lane Nursing Home. She was born December 2, 1948 in Waterbury, Connecticut and was the daughter of Harold and Bertha (Cooke) Parmelee.

Dorothy married Ernest France on June 10, 1972 and he survives. She enjoyed gardening, loved her family, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her husband are 4 Children; John ( Joyce) France of Idaho, Jennifer (Everett Sr.) Baker of Millersburg, Joseph (Holly) France of Plainfield, Ohio, and Linda (William Jr.) Hood Of Coshocton, Ohio. Also surviving are 13 Grandchildren, 1 Great Granddaughter, and a Brother James L. Parmalee of New York.

Funeral Services will be 1 p.m Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Alexander Funeral Home with the burial following at Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m Friday at the Funeral Home.
