Mary Elizabeth (Gooding) Tish

Mary Elizabeth Tish, age 74, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away Monday afternoon, June 24, 2019 at Aultman Hospital, Canton, Ohio surrounded by her family, following a brief illness.

Mary was born December 11, 1944 and was the daughter of Raymond and Lori Gooding. On August 13, 1960 she married Paul Tish and he preceded her in death on August 10, 2018.
Mary was a homemaker and was a wonderful mother to her children. She was a devout Christian woman. She enjoyed reading, cooking and writing poetry.
She survived by four children, Teresa (David) Tenney of Tennessee, Paul (Kim) Tish of Millersburg, Tracy (Tim) Czernik of Tennessee and Benjamin Tish of Millersburg; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Dana Butler of Shreve, Betty (George) Proper of Millersburg, Max (Betty) Gooding of Holmes County, Joe (Cheryl) Gooding of Stillwell, Toby (Toy) Gooding of Holmes County and Christine Hicks of Wooster; numerous nieces and nephews; and her life long friend, Jessie Phillips .
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul; six-month-old daughter, Beth Ann Tish (who passed away in 1965); a sister, Kathy Bickel; a brother, David Gooding; and a brother-in-law, Bob Butler.
