Faye Patterson, age 74, of Killbuck, Ohio left her physical body on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at LifeCare Hospice, Wooster, Ohio after an extended battle with cancer.
Born to Harry and Ethel (Jones) Grenert on February 4, 1945, she spent her childhood in Killbuck, attended Killbuck High School and worked 17 years tending to patients for Dr. Roth.
She is survived by her husband Gail Patterson who she married on May 25, 1962. They spent 57 full years providing for their family and building a welcoming home that extended beyond their family and to their cherished neighbors; ensuring bellies were always full and nobody left a stranger. Faye appreciated a good laugh, a gripping mystery novel and a good dose of reality television.
Left with a memory of deep love and constant laughter, she is also survived by her son, Richard (Heather) Patterson and daughter, Ronda (Sam) Steimel; grandchildren, Cassy (Jamie) Patterson, Zac (Courtney) Patterson, Skylar Patterson and Brogan Steimel; step grandchildren Kyleigh Wells and Ethan Wells; one already well loved great grandchild on the way; twin sister, Kaye (Wayne) Kinsey, brother, Harry "Sonny" Grenert II, and sister, Linda (Pete) Grassbaugh; all of her Patterson brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law whom she loved dearly; and many treasured nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at the Killbuck United Methodist Church with Pastor Kenneth Smailes officiating.
