Anna Mae Rapp, age 84, of Ashland, Ohio passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, July 22nd, 2026 at her home.

Funeral services will be 12 noon on Wednesday, July 29th at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with Pastor Jan Sprague officiating. Burial will take place at Union Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Anna was born August 23rd, 1941 in Centralia, West Virginia and was the daughter of Emma and Loyd Barnett. She was married to the love of her life, Jack Wayne Rapp, who preceded her in death on January 18th, 2009.

Anna worked at Rubbermaid and for Walmart in Ashland. She was a member of the Polk United Methodist Church. Anna loved her grandchildren, reading and crocheting and she enjoyed spending time with her little companion, Joy.

She is survived by children: Patsy (Paul) Arnholt of Big Prairie, Wayne (Evelyn) Rapp of Ashland, Sandie (Keith) Shearer of Shiloh and  honorary son, Christopher (Angela) Stewart of Perrysville; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a brother, Gary (Joy) Barnett.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and siblings: Gerald (Mable) Barnett, Jerry (Emily) Barnett, Janet Butcher, Martha Beatty, Ellen Knight, Gail Barnett and Darrell (Marge) Cross.
