Wilma Caryl DeVore Jones, age 97, of Millersburg, Ohio went home to be with the Lord, Friday evening, December 29, 2017 at Sycamore Run Nursing Home, Millersburg, Ohio following a brief illness.
 Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with minister, Doug Wells officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg, Ohio. Wilma was born May 30, 1920 in Littleton, West Virginia and was the daughter of William and Emma (Matthews) Longstreth. She came to Ohio by train when she was two years old, settling in Clark, Ohio. Wilma was a 1938 graduate of Clark High School. On June 11, 1938 she married Richard DeVore and he preceded her in death in July of 1977. In 1983 she married Clarence Jones and he passed away in April of 1995. Wilma was a homemaker. She a charter member of the Millersburg Church of Christ, where she was involved in the Sewing Group and always volunteered her time. She loved to sew, do arts and crafts, paint pictures, cook and bake. Wilma was known as "Grandma Fudge" to her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.
She is survived by her daughter, Diana (Bob) DeVore of Dover, Ohio; 2 step daughters, Beverly (Ken) Rhoades of Illinois and Linda Maxwell of Missouri; 7 grandchildren, Kimberly (Ricky) Killen of Wooster, Ohio, Valerie (Ric) Dintino of Virginia, James (Dhonyell) DeVore of Litchfield, Kentucky, Matthew (Rachel) DeVore of Jeromesville, Ohio, Dana Rex Casey of Wooster, Ohio, David (Laura) Casey of Millersburg, Ohio and Robert Casey of Mansfield, Ohio; 17 great grandchildren, Glenn, Neil and Ethan Meyer, Cassandra, Thomas and Katie Dintino, Adam, Violet and Caleb DeVore, Ashley and Lindsey Casey, Nicholas  Johnson, Matthew, Austin and Meghan Casey, and Courtney and Max Casey; 3 great-great grandchildren, Zachery Johnson, Luca Dintino and Grayson Wagers; one brother, Harold (Jean) Longstreth of Fairborn, Ohio; and a daughter-in-law, Patricia DeVore of Wooster, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Laurence DeVore; a granddaughter, Laurie Renee DeVore; 2 sisters, Ruth Stoker and Naomi Jacobs; and a brother, Carl Longstreth.
