Dear family of Willi we do not get the Daily record so had no idea until after his service that he had passed. he was much loved by our family because him and our son Ben were good buddies while in school. In recent years I'd stop by his work and pick up some birdseed and always get a hug when he was available to put those heavy bags in the truck. I'm so thankful for his deep faith and love for the LORD that spilled over to so many. please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. I just read this verse today in my devotion book how fitting. Sandy Smith

Revelation 21:4New Living Translation (NLT)

4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”

Cheryl, I am so sorry for your loss. I am sorry that I lost contact with you. I seen the wedding article on the News channel and recognized your voice and picture. What a nice event to take place. Please contact me when things settle down. I would love to hear from you. I no longer live in Castalia. God works in strange ways as I was just thinking of you a few days ago. God Bless all, Cris Cattano

I had the pleasure of meeting Willie when we were in high school. He always had a smile on his face and such a loving and caring demeaner. I cannot remember one time that Willie ever had a negative thing to say about anyone! And being 17 and 18 when we met, that says a lot about his character! We all know that as teenagers, we could be mean and have really bad attitudes...but NOT Willie, not one time did he ever show anything but love and light everywhere he went. He is the nicest person that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. It's been years since we last talked but I can still close my eyes and remember just like it was yesterday, that wonderful smile he had!!! I'm so happy that he has such a loving family that was there for him. Even though I don't know you, Cheryl, I want to thank you for loving and caring for such an amazing friend of mine. I can tell by the posts and pictures how very much you two loved each other. That is rare to find in life and I'm so happy you two both got to experience that!! God gained an angel and we will forever keep Willie alive in our memories. Thank you Willie for your service and for being such an amazing Christian and example for everyone who was blessed to cross your path!! Forever in our hearts!!

Cheryl and family prayers and hugs, Willie will be missed. He was always so much fun and you knew how important family was to him. It hurts to lose someone with his personality but we were all blessed to have his friendship.

Cheryl, girls, family and friends,
Anyone who knew Willie, loved him. You were so blessed to have him in your lives, to have memories with him, to be loved by him. As the days without him turn into years, those memories will keep him near. My heart is breaking for you and no words can express how sorry I am for your loss. RIP Willie.
