I remember visiting Wally on the farm as a city boy. It was great to see the interaction between my grandmother Millie and her brother. And now I reflect on how kind he was and how willing he was to share his home and his passion for farming. He will be missed, from far away here in CA, where I hope to follow his example and become a compassionate multi generational mentor.
