Vanessa Lynn Sorensen age 62, of Shreve, Ohio entered into heaven September 21, 2017 at LifeCare Hospice Gault Center in Wooster, Ohio.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Sunday at Alexander Funeral Home Millersburg with Reverend Kevin Anslow officiating.  Burial will be at Nashville Cemetery.  Friends may call 11 to 1 pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Vanessa was born June 7, 1955 in Millersburg, Ohio and was the daughter of Elmer and Helen "Tilt" (Martin) Sorensen.  She was the lead packer volunteer for Toys for Tots.  She walked marathons for charity always placing in the top 3.  Vanessa was a member for the Flame of Pentecost Church in Millersburg.  She was a sweet soul who loved her family dearly and loved attending family functions.  She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be greatly missed.
Vanessa is survived by her children; Heather Walker of Loudonville, Ohio, Shantel (Travis) Hunter of Wooster, Ohio, Jason Duncan of Columbus, Ohio, Kendra Garver of Shreve; grandchildren Dylon Walker, Frostlyn Walker, Lukas Hunter, Austin Duncan; and a brother Gary (Vickie) Sorensen of Nashville, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Heath Walker, a brother Shawn Sorensen, two sisters Sabrina Raber and Sonia Renfew and a great Neice Aubry Hagy.
