Russell "Rusty" E. Dawson, age 66, of Killbuck, Ohio passed away at his home surrounded by his family, Monday, January 29, 2018 following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio. Burial will be at Killbuck Cemetery, Killbuck, Ohio. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Rusty was born June 10, 1951 in Millersburg, Ohio and was the son of Norval "Toad" Dawson and Geraldine "Dee Dee" (Carl W.) Sinnett. On March 6, 1981 he married Connie Moore the love of his life, and she survives.
Rusty had a passion for racing "R1", fishing, making memories with his friends, and spoiling his grandchildren. He enjoyed birds, saltwater fish tanks, and his dog Lucy. Rusty loved to dance and ride "Rusty Davidson", a trike that he built himself. He was member of the Killbuck VFW.
Surviving in addition to his wife are four children, Rusty (BJ) Dawson of Dover, Doris (James) Miller of Berlin, April (Will) Rose of Killbuck, and Donna (Brian) Garver of Millersburg; nine grandchildren, Jordan Dawson, Jade (Ryan) Bolitho, Nathan Miller, Sierra McCartney, Colton Dawson, Jacob Dawson, Cara Rose, Nevaeh Garver, and Nathan Garver; five great-grandchildren, Russell Dawson, Preslee Dawson, Shiloe Dawson, Kane Bolitho, and John Henry Houghton; his mother and father, Dee Dee and Carl Sinnett; two sisters, Debbie (Allen) Hoxworth and Sharee (Eric) Miller both of Millersburg; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many many friends that loved him dearly. He is also survived by his in-laws, Wesley and Cloma Moore; and a brother-in-law, Aaron (Lisa) Tyson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Toad Dawson; friend, Judy Ann Foster; brother-in-law, Kenny Moore; and Tiffany Doney.
