Pauline Zollars Schonauer, age 81, of Killbuck, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday afternoon, February 13, 2018 following a sudden illness.
According to Pauline's wishes a private family graveside service will be held at Wolf Creek Cemetery with Pastor Clifford Beck officiating. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are being handled by Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio.
Pauline was born July 23, 1936 in Holmes County Ohio and was the daughter of Carl and Mary (Williams) Gallion. On August 9, 1955 she married Paul Zollars and he preceded her in Death on May 17, 1991. She later married Howard D. Schonauer on February 2, 2000 and he preceded her in death on October 16, 2009.
Pauline was a homemaker and farmed her whole life. She worked a number of years at Rice & Chadwick Rubber Company in Killbuck and also at Shelter Rite in Millersburg. She was a member of the Union Grove Church of Christ. Pauline enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, and baking homemade bread, she could cook for an army.
She is survived by three sons, Timothy (Jenny) Zollars of East Rochester, Gary (Beth) Zollars of Killbuck and Daniel Zollars of Killbuck; a daughter-in-law, Karla Zollars of Clark; special step children, stepson, Don (Becky) Schonauer, stepdaughter, Peg (Ernie) Jarvis; and stepson, Rob Renfrew all of Killbuck; 21 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; one brother, Don (Margarite) Gallion of Clark; a sister-in-law, Ivy Gallion of Wooster; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Paul and Howard; a son, Randy Zollars; three brothers, Bill, Delbert "Bus" and Noah; and three sisters, Tib, Eileen and Ruby.
