Norma Jean Miller, age 71, of Holmesville, Ohio passed away Monday morning, April 23, 2018 at LifeCare Hospice Wooster, Ohio following a period of declining health.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holmesville Church of Christ, Holmesville, Ohio with Pastor Chad Stutzman officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Township Cemetery, Holmesville, Ohio. Norma was born January 4, 1947 in Mansfield, Ohio and was the daughter of Michael and Louise (Queer) Hoff. On May 19, 1967 she married Atlee H. Miller and he preceded her in death on December 5, 2005.
Norma Jean loved cooking and baking for family and friends. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, sewing and writing poetry.
Surviving are three children and their spouses, Michael D. and wife, Sheri Miller of Millersburg, Elizabeth Butler of Holmesville and Susan and husband, Terry Rice of Warsaw; 11 grandchildren, Atlee (Bailey) Miller, Alexander Miller (fiancée, Jillian Gurley), Jeared Miller (fiancée, Margaret Miller), Ryan Miller, Bryan Miller, Jack Butler (girlfriend, Kaylin), Renae (Tim) Wade, Chad (Jennie) Long, Toby (Christina) Rice, Miranda (Nick) Meyers and Stephen Rice; 9 great-grandchildren, Timmy, Kara, Tyler, Mary, Colby, Austin, Jordan, Audrey and Hadley; a brother, Michael D. Hoff and wife, Liz of Bucyrus; and her best friend, Jake.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Barbara Ann Walker; and a granddaughter, Stephanie Danielle Rice.
