Louise A. Wilson, age 85, of Glenmont, Ohio passed away Wednesday evening, August 30, 2017 surrounded by her family at her home following a brief illness.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sunnyside Cemetery, Glenmont, Ohio with Pastor Ed Stivers officiating. There will be no calling hours. Louise was born March 3, 1932 in Layland, Ohio and was the daughter of Denver and Margaret (Coyer) Layland. On November 19, 1952 she married Gerald "Jug" Wilson and he preceded her in death on November 7, 1995.
Louise retired from Shriener Sole Company in Killbuck. She enjoyed watching sports especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and listening to their band. Louise loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are three children, Brad (Dixie) Wilson of Longview, Texas, Sharon (Dick) Ernst of Wooster, Ohio and Brent Wilson of Glenmont, Ohio; four grandsons, Jason (Stacy) Wilson, Aaron Nichols, Justin (Ashley) Wilson and Bryce (Lindsey) Wilson; fourg reat-grandchildren, River, Brant, Lillian and Taylar Grace; and two brothers, Dick Layland and Tom Layland.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jug; and her sister, Janet Wright.
