Lillian Frances (Robinson) Howell, age 94, of Wooster, Ohio went home to be with the Lord at LifeCare Hospice on Sunday morning, December 17, 2017.
Lillian was born July 17, 1923 in Buckhannon, West Virginia, to Randall and Eula (Morrison) Robinson. She lived most of her life in Wayne County. She retired from Rexroth after 25 years of service. Lillian had such a giving heart and was a friend to many, she never met a stranger. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by two children, Joseph Howell Jr. and Vickie (Donnie) Rouse both of Wooster; 22 Grandchildren; 59 Great Grandchildren; 21 Great -Great Grandchildren, one Great-Great-Great Grandchild; several nieces and nephews; and her Aunt, Louise Holt. She is also survived by her dog, Maggie.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Pearl, David, Ruby and Osker; children, Shirley French, Larry Pyle and Richard Howell; and a grandchild, Joseph W. Howell III. She was also preceded in death by her special friend and companion, Chan, whom she enjoyed traveling and spending time with.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio. Burial will take place in Smithville Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
