Charlotte L. Blake

Charlotte L. Blake age 91 of Millersburg, Ohio passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Sycamore Run Nursing Home, Millersburg, Ohio, surrounded by her loved ones.
     Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Tuesday at the Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with pastor Matt Rowe officiating.
     Burial will be at the Killbuck Cemetery.
     Friends may call from 6 tp 8 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
     Family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Life Care Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, Ohio 44691. The family would like to express their gratitude to Sycamore Run Nursing Home and Life Care Hospice for the excellent and compassionate care given to Charlotte.
     She was born January 4, 1927 at Three Forks, W.Va. and was the daughter of the late Cecil and Ruby (Savage) Bennett. On March 27, 1946 she married Charles E. Blake and he preceded her in death August 30, 2000.
     Charlotte will always be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She had a caring, kind manner, who put the needs of others above her own.
     Surviving are 2 sons and their spouses, Ronald E. and Marcia Blake of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and David L. and Elsa Blake of Mascoutah, Ill.; Daughter-in-law Jo Ann Blake of Millersburg, Ohio; 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Janie Wright of Cowen, W. Va. and Phyllis Morrison of Port Clinton, Ohio and a brother Fred Bennett of Virginia.
     She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Gary C. Blake and Michael Blake and 5 brothers, Paul Bennett, Victor Bennett, Claude Bennett, Bernard Bennett, and William Bennett.
