Carl Rodgers was one of the finest men I have ever met. I feel humbled that he looked upon me as a friend. Carl could make anything, and had a heart of gold - only person I ever knew who went out of his way to feed animals like raccoons, possums and even an occasional mouse because he wouldn't think of harming such animals. I will cherish the times we spent trap shooting together as I know others will as well. Even if he only got a single target, Carl considered that a day well spent. He knew more about firearms than any person I've met, and I will always remember the volumes he spoke with just a few words.
