Alice Marie Welder, 95, of Millersburg passed away Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, at Majora Lane Care Center, Millersburg.
She was born June 16, 1922, in Canton, and was the daughter of Amandus and Effie (Rowe) Horst. On Feb. 14, 1970, she married Charles Welder and he survives.
Alice worked at Castle Nursing Homes and delivered the Bargain Hunter for many years in Millersburg. She was a member of Millersburg Mennonite Church and loved her church family. Alice volunteered at the Holmes County Senior Center and enjoyed doing jobs at Majora Lane delivering papers and mail and folding laundry. She also enjoyed visiting residents at the Holmes County Home.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her church family, Majora Lane family and many, many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Paul and Floyd.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, at Millersburg Mennonite Church with Pastor Jamie Rye officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg. Friends may call one hour prior to the services on Tuesday at the church. Online condolences may be made at www.alexanderfhinc.com.
