Albert "Bill" Ramsey, age 77, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away Tuesday morning, December 5, 2017 at Wooster Community Hospital following a short illness.
Services will be held at a later date. Family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Alexander Funeral Home, P.O. Box 108, Millersburg, Ohio 44654 to help defray costs.
Bill was born June 4, 1940 in Swandale, West Virginia and was the son of Anson W. and Donnia V. (Woods) Ramsey. On May 12, 1984 he married Lois "Sue" Fletcher and she survives.
Bill loved his grandkids and great grandkids and enjoyed fishing.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Lois are three children and their spouses, Paula Lawhon of Wooster, Ohio, Brenda and Terry Timms of Shreve, Ohio and Arthur and Betty Gibson of Dalton; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and 9 siblings and their spouses, Joyce Trussel of Blanchard, OK, Dan Ramsey of Othello, WA, June Dawson of Shreve, OH, Peggy and Melvin Colter of Port Towsen, WA, Paullette Schrieber of Frankfort, KY, Paul and Crystal McGee of Wooster, OH, Herb and Ty McGee of Big Prairie, OH, Joe McGee of Cambridge, OH and Gene and Ann Carter of Wooster, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Randy Allen Ramsey; granddaughter, Lori Ann Timms; and 4 siblings, Alvin W. Ramsey, Don V. Ramsey, Carolyn S. Hatrupp and Dale E. McGee.
